The Firewood Association of Australia

The Firewood Association of Australia is an incorporated not for profit organisation.

The purpose of the Association is –

1. To protect enhance and improve the long-term sustainability of the Australian firewood industry.
2. To operate a scheme certifying compliance to the Voluntary Code of Practice for Firewood Suppliers (developed by the NRMMC Firewood Taskforce).
3. To promote the certification scheme.
4. To promote association members as suppliers of “Certified Sustainable Firewood”.
5. To facilitate communication between members of the Australian firewood industry.
6. To represent members on issues affecting the firewood industry
